    Description

    The photos are my best description and clearly show color and condition of this dated 1940 wood mug with painted Indian chief in headdress. Made from a log and the handle a twig - it is a work of art. I did think that the Indian head is a transfer but the more I look at it - the more I am convinced that it is painted - hand painted! I might be wrong and I am unable to find another like it to compare. No matter, this is a special souvenir from Spooner, Wisconsin...
