I PLACED- 4 oz of crushed coral
IN
my 29 gallon freshwater aquarium filter, the Ph stabilized!!
I PLACED-2oz of crushed coral in my 10 gallon freshwater aquarium filter, the Ph stabilized!!
My 29 gallon aquarium
houses 5 blackskirt tetras, 2 serpae tetras, 2 tiger barbs, small pleco and a 6 inch shark.
My 10 gallon aquarium houses a dwarf pea puffer and an algae eater.
When will you see results once crushed coral placed in aqaurium?

I saw results within 2 days.  The crushed coral was placed in aquarium 3 years ago and has maintained this stabilized level.
HOW LONG WILL THE CRUSHED CORAL LAST?
The coral takes a very long time to disintegrate-it is after all crushed shells.
What do I do with the crushed coral when it arrives??
Rinse the coral to free the bag of powder-simply place the mesh bag in among the filter components.  See picture-I circled the bag containing the crushed coral.
You may also want to place the crushed coral in the bottom of your tank, great for the health of snails.

lease research because-
placing crushed coral directly in your tank can be harmful to some fish - as they may scrape against it causing them harm.
I want to note- decorations in your aquarium can keep the Ph of your aquarium low.  Do some research on such items.  Certain types of driftwood can lower the Ph.
My personal experience has been trying many products sold in the pet store- you have to be diligent frequently testing the Ph and constantly adding the "stabilizing" product.  Once crushed coral is added- I only did routine testing, no more wasted money.
